Invited by Open Sesame, Robert W. Doty, the president of American Government Financial Services Co. in Sacramento, California, visited Zhengzhou from March 1 to 2. The purpose of Mr. Doty’s visit was to find cooperation opportunities with Zhengzhou, since the Chinese Central Government is going to allow local governments to issue municipal bonds. Mr. Yunwei Xue, the vice mayor of City of Zhengzhou, met with Mr. Doty in the City Hall. They exchanged ideas about infrastructure financing via municipal bonds, and expressed their interest in future cooperation. Gary Jia, the president of Open Sesame, attended the meeting. Mr. Doty also met officials with Zhengzhou Economical & Technological Development Zone, and toured the facilities of Open Sesame.
